We at the Office of Space and Facilities Planning are excited to be a part of Vanderbilt Medical Center.  It is an exciting and growing environment.

Our mission is to provide services to others at the medical center for facility space management, inventory, planning, design and construction.  Our architects, engineers, project managers, and support staff are dedicated to providing facilities which best support and promote the overall mission of patient care, education and research.  We work with departmental personnel and university leadership to define short and long term facility needs, evaluate options, and to develop and execute implementation of those plans. 

We are the architects, engineers, assistants and coordinators who deliver new construction and renovation projects.  We lead the collection and assembly of space inventory information which is used in turn by numerous departments for many different purposes.  We are the planners who meet with you to determine needs and dream the dreams that lead to fulfillment of those needs.
