The Office of Space and Facilities Planning works within the Medical Center and in close coordination with Campus Planning & Construction.  We manage the planning and implementation of all major capital modifications to facilities on both Vanderbilt’s Medical Center campus and off-site locations.

Our mission is to provide services to others at the medical center for facility space management, inventory, planning, design and construction.  Our architects, engineers, project managers, and professional support staff are dedicated to providing facilities which best support and promote the overall mission of patient care, education and research.  We work with departmental personnel and university leadership to define short and long term facility needs, evaluate options, and to develop and execute implementation of those plans.
